Reel Friends: Reel Talk August
Evening of five Atlanta short films, followed by live director commentary and a mixer—presented by Reel Friends! Arrival at 8:00 PM. Screening begins at 8:30 PM, featuring local short films, followed by a live director commentary. Afterward, enjoy a happy hour mixer in the lobby from 10-11pm. Featuring work directed by Mikael Trench, Nina Lee, Dakota Cerro, Ivan Rome and Derek Evans. Reel Friends is an Atlanta-based production company founded by Rocco Shapiro, dedicated to crafting dynamic narrative projects with diverse artists in a respectful and collaborative environment that values authenticity above all. They have produced short films that premiered at Academy Qualifying festivals and they are now in development on multiple feature films.
