We are here for your event needs! The Tara Theatre is perfect for screenings, birthdays, corporate events, parties and much more. We offer Four auditoriums with varying size and amenities

Being the only independently owned and operated theatre in Atlanta, we understand the DIY "Do It Yourself" ethic, so you rent out the showtimes from us, you charge whatever admission you want and you keep all the ticket sales!

All screenings of films you did not create require Public Performance Rights (PPR), which the theatre can secure on your behalf. Renters Licensing costs vary by film, audience size, and admission, typically $200–$450 for standard titles and $300–$2,000+ for newer or high-profile releases. Once we request a quote from the distributor, you can decide whether to proceed with your booking. This is not included in the rental fee and the additional cost would be covered by the renter.
